Greed down; happiness up

Triodos takes over Times Square

06-10-2011 | Sometimes the stock market can seem like the only measure of prosperity: rising prices equal profit, falling prices mean panic. But money should be about much more than just profit and loss. Triodos took over the NASDAQ board in New York’s Times Square in August, replacing the usual rises and falls in the stock market with positive messages of culture, fair trade and sustainable farming going up and inequality, exploitation and climate change going down.
