Prickly Nut Wood

Ecological development (Environment)

Ben Law lives in Prickly Nut Wood, West Sussex, where he practises the ancient traditions of woodland management and charcoal burning. His now famous house, featured on Channel 4’s ‘Grand Designs’, was built using wood from sweet chestnut trees and straw bales.

Ecological development

By provide funding for restoration and construction of innovative and sustainable design, we try to limit the negative impact of building on the environment and the society.
