Trojan Services is an innovative recycling business, manufacturing civil engineering products for the rail industry. These include their ‘TroTrof’ cable troughs, which house the cables running alongside the railways. Made from recycled plastic, TroTrof are a replacement for standard concrete ducting. As well as reusing precious resources, the new troughs are lighter to transport, with a considerable reduction in carbon emissions. A loan from Triodos has enabled the company to meet its orders for the TroTrof product.
