Thanks in part to a loan from Triodos, YHA (Youth Hostel Association) has just completed a major renovation scheme at Whitby Youth Hostel. Work began in 2005 to turn a dilapidated Grade I listed landmark into a flagship hostel offering high standard accommodation. Perched dramatically on one of the most magnificent headlands in the country, Abbey House dominates one of the best views on the North Yorkshire coast.
