AMC

La Sociedad Cooperativa AMC de R.L. (AMC) helps small businesses by providing them with loans or insurance. AMC was initially primarily active in the west of El Salvador, but in recent years, it has opened branches in central El Salvador and in the east. A large proportion of its clients live in rural areas. AMC wants to focus more on these regions since this is where the most growth opportunities are for a microfinance institution in El Salvador. AMC is also procving loans to organic certfied farmers and solar panels for households. AMC will be able to expand further now that it has been provided a loan from Hivos-Triodos Fund.
