Transferring an existing Junior cash ISA to Triodos

A Junior Cash ISA can be transferred from one provider to another at any time. Some providers may make a charge for transferring a Junior cash ISA out to a new provider and some ISA providers may not accept transfers in. You can transfer a Junior cash ISA to another Junior cash ISA, or to a stocks and shares Junior ISA. A child can only hold a total of one Junior cash ISA and one stocks and shares Junior ISA. Triodos Bank only offers a Junior cash ISA, but you can transfer from a stocks and shares Junior ISA to a Junior cash ISA. If you would like to transfer an existing Junior cash ISA to Triodos from another bank or building society, you'll need to complete a Triodos Junior Cash ISA Transfer Authority Form .

The Junior ISA must be transferred directly between your current provider and Triodos; it's not possible to make the transfer yourself. You are unable to withdraw from a Junior Cash ISA until you are 18.  Once we've received your completed ISA Transfer Authority Form, we'll deal directly with your existing Junior ISA provider and sort the transfer for you.

There are two options for transferring a Junior Cash ISA:

  • Total transfer of an existing Junior cash ISA
  • Partial transfer from an existing Junior stocks and shares ISA

To transfer an existing Junior cash ISA to Triodos you need to have a Triodos Ethical Junior ISA.
