Who can open a Triodos Regular Saver Account?
If you’re over 16 and want to save at least £25 every month, you can open a Triodos Regular Saver Account in your name. Or if you want you can open an account jointly with your partner, a friend or family member.
Interest and tax exemptions
The interest rate is variable, calculated daily and paid twice a year. Interest is taxable, but you may be eligible for exemption. You can apply for exemption by downloading the necessary forms from the HMRC website.
For UK residents, complete and return your application with form
R85 Getting your interest without tax taken off

For overseas residents, complete and return your application with form

Withdrawals
You need to give 33 or 90 days' notice to withdraw money – you decide when you apply. The interest rate will reduce by 1.50% gross (1.51% AER*) if you make more than two withdrawals in a year. The interest rate will not fall below 0%.
