The Social Banking Team
Sue Cooper - Deputy Manager, Business Banking Team
With over 30 years banking experience, including nine at Triodos, Sue is an expert in charity and social enterprise finance. She holds an MSc in Strategic Management, and wrote her dissertation on leadership tensions within social businesses. She is now studying for a PhD in the management of social business.
Responsible for the overall management of the Social Banking Team, Sue is committed to using her expertise to develop capacity within the sector - from working on innovative ways to finance social enterprises, to sitting on the Steering Committee of exciting new initiatives such as the Social Enterprise Mark, lobbying government, and being a social enterprise mentor.

David Lamb – Relationship Manager
David joined Triodos in 2006 with over 30 years banking experience, having worked in a variety or roles. As well as considerable lending experience, he was responsible for setting up a telephone and internet banking operation for business customers.
David is interested in using his experiences and skills to work with and help organisations in the social enterprise sector and sits on the DTA South West Regional Committee. He is always keen to discuss ideas and plans that such groups may have at an early stage.

Peter Borgers – Relationship Manager
Peter joined Triodos in 1996, having previously worked for Charity Bank, where he was involved in financing a broad range of charities and social enterprises. Prior to that, Peter spent 17 years with Bank of Boston, including 11 years in the Bank's private equity division, BancBoston Capital. This involved financing management buyouts, acquisitions and development capital for a wide range of middle market businesses across the UK and Northern Europe.
Peter is very interested in the funding needs of the growing social enterprise sector, and is keen to look for opportunities to work alongside other social lenders, social investors and venture philanthropists, to help provide third sector financing solutions for charities and social enterprises.

Louise Davey – Relationship Development Manager
Louise joined Triodos in 2002 after working in Japan on a programme to promote cross-cultural understanding. She believes that money can be a tool for positive change and that charities and social enterprises who bank ethically are ensuring that the flow of their money increases the impact of the sector.
Since joining Triodos she has worked in roles including customer service and lending. Now responsible for business development within the social banking team, she is always keen to hear from individuals and organisations that are interested in working with us.
