Triodos opened its first office in Scotland in April 2006, the Bank’s first in the UK outside its Bristol base. While the Edinburgh-based office isn't a public branch, it reflects growing demand for Triodos Bank's services in Scotland. The move followed David Cousland’s appointment as the Bank’s first Scottish Manager, in June 2004.

David Cousland has over eight years lending experience at Triodos Bank. Following a career in industry David was general manager of a fair trade craft importer, wholesaler and retailer.
