Due to our continued growth and development we are pleased to be recruiting for the new role of Senior Enterprise and Financial Risk Manager to join us on a 12-month FTC.

Reporting to the UK Head of Risk, the Senior Enterprise and Financial Risk Manager will be responsible for managing the primary risk types within the Bank's risk appetite and will attend relevant first line of defence management committee meetings (e.g. AlCo). The primary risk types for Triodos Bank UK are Enterprise risk, Market risk, Liquidity risk, and Strategic risk. The main areas of responsibility are to:

  • Be responsible for the development and maintenance of the UK's Risk Strategy, Enterprise wide risk management framework (ERMF), and Risk appetite framework
  • Ensure that the risk management cycle (identify, assess, manage, monitor and report) is embedded in the first line of defence through the provision of frameworks, policies and support
  • Oversee liquidity risk, market risk, treasury operations, ICAAP, ILAAP, RRP and stress testing frameworks activities in relation to strategic, liquidity and market risk - Providing constructive challenge to the development of these key regulatory documents
  • Oversee and support of financial risk appetite
  • Ensure the development, maintenance and education of the risk taxonomy and risk assessment matrix
  • Lead design and implementation of second line enterprise wide risk reporting to the Core Management Committee (CMC) and Audit & Risk Committee (ARC)
  • Lead the design and implementation of reporting for own areas of responsibility e.g. enterprise risk (including strategic risk) and financial risk
  • Ensure the development, maintenance and education of the three lines of defence operating model
  • Be responsible for training and education of the business in the ERMF
  • Ensure that efficient and effective processes are in place for the sourcing, collation, quality assurance and delivery of regulatory reporting that is owned by the Risk department
  • Be responsible for developing and reporting of UK prudential risk horizon scanning
  • Develop an external network to ensure industry best practise is considered as the business continues to grow and develop
  • Professional experience of working in a financial services organisation and strong knowledge of UK financial services regulation is essential.  The role requires clear strategic thinking with highly developed analytical skills, and proven, focused planning and project management skills. A self-starter and team player proactively seeing tasks through to completion.

To be successful in this role, you will be qualified as a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) and/or hold a relevant risk management/financial risk management qualification. In return for your commitment and hard work, you will receive a competitive basic of up to £60,000 depending on experience, plus a benefits package including:
