Triodos Bank is taking part in two major industry conferences this week - the NHF’s (National Housing Federation) Housing Finance Conference and Regen 2017, both of which take place in Liverpool on Wednesday 22 and Thursday 23 March.

Triodos will be at stand 729 at this event which will host over 1100 delegates and a range of speakers such as Andrew Rawnsley, chief political commentator, The Observer; David Smith, Sunday Times economics editor; and NHF chief executive David Orr.

In the UK, social housing is one of Triodos’ largest sectors of lending with over £250m of long term lending facilities to over 30 different housing association customers.

Regen 2017 – The 3rd Annual UK Regeneration Exhibition and Conference, St. George’s Hall, Liverpool

Triodos will be exhibiting at this conference which has already become the industry’s leading forum for thought leadership in UK regeneration and economic development.

Triodos relationship manager Mark Ogden will also speaking on ‘The role of social enterprises in sustainable urban regeneration’ in a 4pm seminar at the event on Wednesday 22nd March.

Mark will examine how social enterprises have a vital role to play in sustainable urban regeneration. The seminar will look at exemplar case studies from across the UK – including the Abolish Empty Office Buildings campaign and the Bristol Together / Glasgow Together project - and will discuss what role the private sector has to play in helping social enterprises to flourish.
