Business and charity accounts application

Thank you for your application, we will review and process it shortly.

You can expect to hear from us within the next 5 working days. We may need to request more information about your organisation or the people linked to it. At this stage you don't need to send us anything; we will contact you if we need any further information to process your application.

If we are able to open your account without any further information, you can expect to receive the following details from us:

Social Venture Current Account or Charity Current Account application

We will send a new account welcome pack, which includes your new account details, to the contact person at the organisation's correspondence address.

Your cheque book and credit book will be ordered and you should receive them at the organisation's correspondence address within ten working days from the date of your account opening letter.

We will ask account operators who are authorised to make written instructions on the
account(s) to complete a signature reply form. These will be sent to the account operators' home addresses. Once we've received these completed forms you'll be able to manage your
account(s) by post and use your cheque book.

Business and Charity Deposit Account or Treasurers Reserve application

We will send a new account welcome pack, which includes your new account details, to the contact person at the organisation's correspondence address.

We will ask account operators who are authorised to make written instructions on the
account(s) to complete a signature reply form. These will be sent to the account operators' home addresses. Once we've received these completed forms you'll be able to manage your
account(s) by post.

Fixed Term Deposit application

We will write to you confirming your account details. Once you have received these you will need to make your opening deposit by either sending us a cheque or by making an electronic transfer. Your deposit should be made as one single payment for the full amount you stated on your application. If you need to make more than one payment to make up your full deposit please contact us first. When we have received your full opening deposit, we will assign your funds to the term requested.

We will ask account operators who are authorised to make written instructions on the
account(s) to complete a signature reply form. These will be sent to the account operators' home addresses. Once we've received these completed forms you'll be able to manage your
account(s) by post.

Internet Banking

Current Accounts, Business and Charity Deposit Accounts, and Treasurers Reserve accounts will be set up with Internet Banking access. If you have applied for a Fixed Term Deposit at the same time you will be able to view this account online but not carry out transactions.

If you've only applied for a Fixed Term Deposit Internet Banking will not be provided. However, once your account is open, you can apply to view it online.

Existing Internet Banking users, who you have authorised to have internet banking as part of this application, will be able to access the new account(s) using their existing Digipass and Personal Identification Number (PIN).

New Internet Banking users will be sent a Digipass and PIN. Digipasses will be sent to the organisation's correspondence address, personally addressed to each new Internet Banking user and PINs will be sent to their home address.
