Impact

The scheme will generate approximately 305MWh of clean electricity each year, and includes a modern fish pass to improve migration up-stream. Ownership of the scheme is planned to transfer to a local community group after construction.

Bond issued to private and local investors to build a small-scale hydro power scheme at Norbury Weir on the river Dove in south Derbyshire.

Impact

The 100 kW project brings significant environmental and community benefits. As well as generating renewable energy, it incorporates a new fish pass and provides green electricity to a nearby farm and a local aluminum foundry.

Bond issued by a subsidiary company of Thrive Renewables Plc that owns two operational windfarms in Scotland.

Impact

The two operational windfarms have a combined capacity of 1.6 MW and are expected to generate 5,570MWh of green energy each year – enough to power around 1,350 homes.

Linton Hydro - Bond Offer

Bond issued to retail and local investors to build a 280 kW hydro power scheme on the River Ouse in North Yorkshire and to acquire an adjacent 100 kW operating hydro scheme.

Impact

When the new hydro scheme has been constructed and is operational, the two projects combined are forecast to generate 1.87 GWh of clean, green electricity – enough to power the equivalent of 450 homes – and will bring additional environmental benefits through the installation of a modern fish pass.
