Eligibility criteria

In order to be able to apply for the account you must be:

  • Aged 18 or over
  • A resident in the UK (including BFPO addresses)
  • Not subject to any County Court Judgements (CCJs)
  • Has not filed for bankruptcy, a Debt Relief Order (DRO) or an Individual Voluntary Arrangement (IVA) in the last 5 years

What if I am not eligible?

Important information

  • We do not offer telephone banking but there is telephone support available via our contact team from 8.00am to 6.00pm Monday to Friday (Telephone support for lost and stolen cards and card fraud is provided 24/7, through our standard contact number 0330 355 0355)
  • We do not offer any unarranged overdrafts. Payments that would take the account overdrawn without an agreed overdraft facility will be unpaid. (There are still situations where an unarranged overdraft may occur, see our Terms and Conditions for more details.)
  • There will be no credit interest paid on your balance
  • It is an online account so we have no branch network available

**Effective Annual Rate (EAR) is the annual cost of the overdraft, taking into account that interest is charged to the account monthly.
