The Triodos Microfinance fund is quoted in sterling, however when you purchase or sell, your sterling is converted from sterling into euros or back from euros into sterling.  Your total return is subject to the euro-sterling exchange rate. Who is eligible to purchase the Microfinance fund?

Investing in the Triodos Microfinance Fund is only suitable for ‘sophisticated’ or ‘high net worth’ investors with £10,000 or more to invest. Investors must be aged 18 years or over and be UK residents.

If you choose to invest you will first need to complete a Statement for a Certified High Net Worth Individual or Self-certified Sophisticated Investor form. This form will establish the type of investor you are and confirm that you understand the risks associated with this investment.

What happens next?

If you feel the Triodos Microfinance Fund is right for you please download, print off and complete the Self Declaration form and send it to us at the address on the form. Upon receipt we will send you an application form.

The Triodos Microfinance fund has a semi-open ended structure and is traded on a monthly basis at net asset value, allowing investors to buy and sell shares at the end of the month. Deals are placed at midday on the last working day of the month and settled cash must be received at the latest by midday the working day before. You will receive confirmation of the price received and shares purchased shortly after this date.
