Triodos Debit Mastercard®

This section details key information about your Triodos Debit Mastercard® – from how to use it, to what to do if it is lost or stolen.

The Triodos Debit Mastercard® is made using ‘natural plastic’ of compacted renewable resources such as plant leaves and corn with contactless technology.The card itself is now believed to have the strongest environmental credentials of any debit card in the UK market. Only the chip and strip are not recyclable

At any cash machine accepting Mastercard® and Link, you can:

  • Withdraw up to £300 cash per day (subject to available balance)
  • Access your balance and mini-statements

Remember that neither Triodos Bank, nor the police, will ever ask for your card number and PIN. Do not share your card security details with anyone.

To report a lost or stolen card, or a transaction that you do not recognise, please call us as soon as possible. For calls relating to debit card queries we are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

You can use your debit card when abroad. Separate charges apply; please see our tariff of charges for more details.

Card lock service

Temporarily lock your card

If you wish to temporarily lock your card, text TRIODOS LOCK followed by your access code and the last four digits of your card number to 57887, for example: TRIODOS LOCK 123456 7890.

Unlock your card

To unlock your card text TRIODOS UNLOCK followed by your access code and the last four digits of your card number to 57887, for example: TRIODOS UNLOCK 123456 7890.

Activate your card

To activate your card and retrieve your PIN, text TRIODOS PINACT followed by your access code and the last four digits of your card number to 57887, for example: TRIODOS PINACT 123456 7890

Please note that some mobile providers do not process text messages to 5 digit numbers. If you text and do not receive a response from us please call us as your request will not have been confirmed and processed.
