What is the difference between savings and investments?
At Triodos Bank savings are used to lend directly to businesses and organisations working to benefit society, culture and the environment. Savings also have a clear rate of return for customers. Investments are not lent out but are instead invested in companies and the return is not guaranteed. In both cases we ensure we let our customers know exactly where their savings and investments are going.
