Why hasn’t my savings rate gone up by the same amount as the Bank of England base rate increase?

Our savings rates are not directly linked to the Bank of England Base Rate, but it is one of the factors we take into consideration when deciding what they should be.

We also need to balance the value we give to borrowers as well as savers to make sure we can continue to use your savings in a sustainable and transparent way and support the inspiring projects that we know are important to you.

We are committed to offering the best interest rates we can afford and will always pass on as much of the Bank of England base rate change as we can.
