At the end of the 1980s in the Netherlands, the Tuenter family moved from the Achterhoek area to Westerlee. In the Achterhoek they had a pig farm, but in Westerlee they started an organic goat farm. Over the years, the three sons have joined the company and the company has been further expanded and renovated. In addition to the approximately 570 goats, they now also have a contracting company and are involved in nature conservation. For this they manage over 100 ha of forest from Staatsbosbeheer. All milk from the farm bears the EKO quality mark and is processed into cheese in the factory.
