Since purchasing the Wheatsheaf pub in Chilton Foliat in 2016, Ollie and Lauren Hunter have rejuvenated it into one of the most sustainable pubs in the UK. They aim to fill the space with flavour, music and art, whilst maintaining a focus on community and heritage. Their energy is from 100% renewable sources, they grow their own herbs and fruit and they focus on using seasonal, local and ethically sourced produce. In 2019, The Wheatsheaf received a Soil Association ‘Organic Served Here’ award.
