ICT Servicedesk engineer (32-40 hours p/w)

Become one of the ambassadors of our ICT Service Desk

As an ICT Service Desk employee you are in the middle of the organization and you have a lot of interaction with the business. Not only with our Dutch colleagues, but also with those from England, Belgium, Spain and Germany.

"Can you explain how OneNote works", "Help, my laptop has stopped working", "I'm having problems with Outlook, what's going on?" ... These are just a few of the wide range of questions that colleagues ask us. By telephone or at our service desk. You know and give the answer. And if you do not have the solution ready, you can find it from your colleagues from the second line. But, with our Single Point of Contact way of working, you are the one who ultimately provides feedback. In short, you do everything you can to help your colleagues. You do this:

  • In a personal, friendly and professional manner.
  • Preferably with a good sense of humor.
  • As the pivot between the person asking the question and the second line (Application Support, Development, System Management, ...).
  • With ease in Dutch, but also in English.

With great pleasure you regularly man the service desk where you, as a true ambassador, keep the good image of the ICT Service Desk high. You can do this, for example, by making the overheated colleague who comes running in at the end of the day with a broken laptop at ease. Thanks to your determined way of working, you know how to let the colleague go home with a good feeling, even if you have not been able to repair the laptop immediately.

Take action

  • Help your colleagues by listening carefully and showing understanding for their problem, and only then proposing a solution or passing the problem on to secondary care.
  • Provide feedback on the solution, even if it is provided by the second line.
  • Expand your knowledge of the technology and the applications used.

About the role

This is youYou are service-oriented. Besides the fact that we would like it if you already have some knowledge of a wide range of tablets, desktops, laptops and computer applications such as Microsoft Office and Triton, we find it especially important that you are very customer-friendly. You know how to turn difficult situations into something positive and you actually come up with solutions.You also learn quickly and are able to master new systems and applications. With your fresh perspective and up-to-date knowledge, you know how to optimize processes and proactively come up with improvement proposals.Your command of both Dutch and English is good; you must be able to communicate with our colleagues in the Netherlands as well as at our offices in England, Belgium, Spain and Germany.
