About the role

The Role:

The Financial Crime Risk Manager is a first line of defence role sitting in TBUK’s Operations department. It provides specialist knowledge and hands on support to operational teams and is instrumental in ensuring that TBUK’s controls remain fit for purpose, prevent crime and protect our customers in an evolving landscape. The role develops and supports a programme of continuous improvement to our processes and controls as well as supporting the reporting into external and internal stakeholders on TBUK Financial Crime Data.

We are looking for an experienced financial crime professional to join our growing team within the First Line of Defence. You have a passion for the subject matter and use this to influence a range of senior stakeholders to deliver positive change. You enjoy working with a wide variety of individuals and teams across organisations and navigating complex, interconnected issues, ultimately delivering excellent outcomes for business and customer. You are excited by the opportunities which exist within a growing business and can deliver immediate impact in a rapidly evolving financial crime space. You have extensive experience within change delivery and have implemented and improved a range of financial crime controls

What we offer

In return for your contribution, you will receive a competitive salary of up to £45,000 (depending on experience) plus access to our extensive benefits package, where most of our benefits are non-contributory! Our benefits include:

  • Non-contributory pension scheme from your first day of 8% in year 1 and 10% from year 2 onwards
