Save with Triodos Bank and we'll donate £40 to Friends of the Earth Scotland**

We're a different kind of bank. We'll only lend your money to people and organisations that work to make the world a better place. And we promise you'll always know where your money goes.

How to save ethically and support Friends of the Earth Scotland

  1. Click on the button below and choose an account that suits you.
  2. Complete an application form and select, or write, 'Partner - FoE Scotland ' in the 'How did you hear about Triodos Bank? ' field.
  3. We'll donate £40 to Friends of the Earth Scotland after the balance of the account reaches £100.

Once your account is opened, and you've deposited £100 or more, you do not need to take any further action to ensure that the donation is made. We'll include the £40 donation as part of our monthly donation to Friends of the Earth Scotland.

Change your bank, change the world

Changing the way you bank is one of the most effective ways you can change things for the better.

What makes us so sure? Well it's a belief we're living out every single day. Here's how:

Financing change. Changing finance

At Triodos Bank, we believe that profit doesn't need to be at the expense of the world's most pressing environmental problems.

That's why we finance organisations from organic food and farming businesses and pioneering renewable energy enterprises, to recycling companies and nature conservation projects.

We're 100% ethical.

We only lend our savers' money to people and organisations who are working to make a positive impact - culturally, socially and environmentally.

We only lend real money.

We only lend money entrusted to us by our savers, and not a penny more. In a climate that's seen so many banks around us thrown into turmoil, our approach has enabled us to remain solid and stable.

We're totally transparent.

We're completely open about how we use our customers' money. And you can see for yourself exactly who we lend to on our website.

So if you're looking for a way to save without compromising on ethics whilst still getting a good return on your money, then switch to sustainable banking with Triodos. Whatever you're saving for, we've got an account to suit your needs - from tax-free ISAs to easy access online savings and from fixed term Bonds to Charity Saver accounts.

**The donation can only be paid if applicants complete either an online application form and select 'Partner – FoE Scotland' in the 'How did you hear about Triodos Bank?' field, or a paper application form and write 'Partner – FoE Scotland' in the 'How did you hear about Triodos Bank' box. The donation will be paid after the balance of the account reaches £100. One donation made per customer (one donation made in the event of joint account opening). Triodos reserves the right to decline any application. This offer may be changed or withdrawn without notice at any time. General Terms and Conditions for personal savings accounts, and any specific conditions for the account also apply.
