Solar plant Pyranergy Solar

Renewable energy (Environment)

Pyranergy Solar operates solar panels with a total capacity of 3.48 MW in La Gineta, Albacete, Spain. In 2013, the plant provided 1,500 households with green electricity. The solar plant became operational in September 2008 and consists of Würz and Aleo pannels and Enertron inverters, manufactured by Gamesa. Triodos Renewables Europe Fund holds 50% of the shares in Pyranergy Solar.

Renewable energy

Energy is a necessity in modern life but the current dependence on fossil fuels to provide it has a high environmental and social impact. We believe that a fundamental transition is needed away from a carbon based economy to a renewable one. By lending and investing in this sector we try to stimulate this transition, with our main focus on financing solar, wind and hydro energy.
