Frequently Asked Questions
Triodos Bank is introducing a refreshed visual identity. This means that you will see a new logo, a new colour palette, updated fonts and new visual elements. These changes will appear across our channels, including our website, Internet Banking, the mobile app (with a new app icon), emails, social media and other communications.
The rollout happens gradually. Not everything will change at the same moment or in the same place. During this transition, you may temporarily see the old and new visual styles side by side. This careful approach also helps us avoid unnecessary waste, for example by using up our existing stationery and bank card stock.
Because scammers can take advantage of moments of change, it’s important to be vigilant. Know that we will never ask you for your login details, password or PIN. Also, your physical bank card and Digipass will stay the same.
Thanks for your feedback. We’ll use it to improve our services.
Yes. Our values and mission remain unchanged. Our rebrand is an evolution in how we express them visually, not a way to change direction. The choices behind the new look are aligned with our long‑standing commitment to people, nature and a sustainable future.

No. Your banking security is not affected. Triodos Bank continues to apply the same high security standards before, during and after the rollout of the new visual identity.
Because moments of change can attract scammers, we encourage extra alertness. Remember:
- We will never ask for your login details, password or PIN
- We will never ask you to move money or authorise payments
- If in doubt, always contact Triodos Bank directly using our official channels.

All physical materials with our former logo and colours will either be used until they’re out of stock, or repurposed.

For more than 45 years, Triodos Bank has shown that money can be used as a force for good. Together with our customers, we support initiatives such as clean energy production, nature-based solutions, social projects and entrepreneurs working towards a better future.
We refreshed our visual style so that the way we look better reflects who we are today and what we stand for. The new design helps us tell our story in a clearer, modern and more engaging way, while staying true to our roots.

While our appearance evolves, everything that matters most stays exactly the same:
- Our values and mission
- Your accounts, products and services
- How you bank with us and how our services work
- Your login details and security measures
- Your physical bank card and Digipass
Triodos Bank remains the bank you know and trust. Only the way we look is changing.

You can keep using your current physical bank card. It will remain valid and does not need to be replaced because of the new look. During the transition, you will however see a new design on your digital card, for example in the app. We’re making these changes gradually, with care and in line with our sustainability values, avoiding unnecessary waste. Therefore, with physical products like bank cards and stationery we will use up existing stock until we switch to the new design.
Thanks for your feedback. We’ll use it to improve our services.
Yes. You will gradually see visual changes on our website, in Internet Banking, in the mobile app and on documents such as digital bank statements. The icon of your banking app will also change.
What does not change is how everything works. Logging in, making payments and managing your accounts all stay the same. If anything ever feels unfamiliar beyond the visual design, please contact us directly.

We will never contact you out of the blue to ask you:
- for your digipass PIN
- for your card number or PIN
- for your mobile app passcode
- to transfer money out of your account
- to click a link in an email to our internet banking
- to download any software onto your PC or mobile phone
- to authorise or cancel card payments through the app, or approve “refunds”
If in doubt, call us on the number on our website.

Our new earth shaped logo shows three ways meeting each other, representing the ‘tri-hodos’ that reflects the Triodos Bank philosophy. People, planet, profit AND head, heart, hands, AND impact, risk, return. In the new logo, the three ways are T shaped, and the three parts are not equal in shape or colour, which stands for the dynamics of society and the continuous balancing that is required between different values and interests. The three elements in the logo are the building blocks for a new society, a better future that we shape together with our customers.

No. You don’t need to take any action. Your accounts, login details and access methods remain exactly the same. We will never ask you to confirm personal details, move money or share security information as part of this rebrand. If you receive a message claiming otherwise, please treat it with caution and contact us.

Accessibility and readability have been an integral part of the project from the very start. We strongly believe a visual identity only works if it is clear and usable for as many people as possible. In developing the new identity, we applied recognised accessibility principles around colour contrast, typography, spacing and information hierarchy. These choices help make our content easy to read and understand, both offline (in print) and online, and across different devices.
The designs were reviewed and tested extensively, including checks against widely used standards such as the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) and the European Accessibility Act (EAA).
We see accessibility as an ongoing responsibility. As the new visual identity is rolled out, we will continue to review it and make improvements where needed, so our communication remains clear, understandable and inclusive. If you have any questions or concerns, please don’t hesitate to get in touch with us.
