Gerlan Hydro is part of the Derwent Hydro group of companies, who are investing in Sir Richard Arkwright's historic Masson Mills, which the group has acquired and will upgrade whilst preserving an important heritage building. The organisation works to meet essential carbon reduction targets generating clean electricity on site, and to enhance cultural heritage with new uses, grounding the mill firmly in its community.
