Homemade (Pickwell) provides social housing to rent across the South West of England through conversions, renovations and new developments. Working with in partnership with charities, local community support groups and local authorities mainly in North Devon and Bristol. Pickwell have housed and helped to resettle a number of vulnerable families and individuals, including Syrian families into communities through the partnership with Bristol City Council. In addition to this, the organisation have also helped to house others who are at risk of homelessness in these communities.

Pickwell’s primary driver is social impact as they support both people and planet by deploying their profits to worthy charitable causes. Environmental sustainability is also a clear focus, their properties all comply with EPC rating criteria for rental properties and as the organisation receives more funding, their EPC values will be enhanced.
