The New Luce Community Trust aims to improve job and volunteering prospects, providing assistance to those living in fuel poverty. The community trust is refurbishing the Kenmuir Arms pub, which is in the ownership of the local community, the development is being modernised to ensure a good level of energy efficiency. The garden backs on to a local river which will be landscaped to improve biodiversity. The pub will also benefit the local community and provide tourist accommodation in the local area.
