Sunflowers, based in Cottenham near Cambridge, provide a home-from-home environment for children who are too sick to live at home and would otherwise likely spend their lives in hospital or a hospice. Previously occupying a rented property for a number of years, the funds have enabled Sunflowers to purchase their very own home which will be used to accommodate the children they care for.
