Established in 1972 as a group of local volunteers, SSJ is a Southampton-based housing association and homelessness charity, providing a range of supported living services and housing in Southampton, Portsmouth and across Hampshire. The association provides a wide range of support to people from all walks of life experiencing homelessness, problematic alcohol or substance use and mental health problems.

Financing from Triodos will fund the addition of an estimated 20 further properties providing some 120 bed spaces/units of accommodation over the next few years, which will help SSJ provide a secure home for the vulnerable people it helps.
