Wat (meaning temple) Phra Singh UK has recently been established to serve the large number of Theravada Buddhists in the North West being supported by its parent Temple, Wat Phra Singh in Chiang Mai, Thailand. The project is a member of the Network of Buddhist Organisations (NBO) and of the National Council of Voluntary Organisations (NCVO).
