About the role

Who we are:Triodos Bank is an award-winning organisation and one of Europe’s leading sustainable banks. Our mission is to make money work for positive social, environmental, and cultural change. We offer a wide range of banking services for people who want to use their money consciously – from current accounts to investments and savings. We only finance companies, organisations, and projects that benefit people and the environment.

We’re a certified B Corporation, meaning we are part of a community of businesses driving the shift to a new kind of economy - one that is better for workers, communities, and the environment.

The Opportunity:

We’re excited to be recruiting for our Finance placement scheme, a 13-month programme running from the beginning of August 2026 to the end of August 2027. This scheme has been run annually since 2023 and has been hugely successful.

This role offers great exposure across our finance teams, where you will support key processes including cash and liquidity management, capital forecasting, business planning, tax and accounting, and management reporting. You will have opportunities to identify and implement improvements, and work closely with colleagues across the business.

What we are looking for:This role is suitable for a placement student who is studying finance or accounting, or who has an interest in a career in these areas. The majority of activities will be entry-level and suitable for someone in their first professional role.

To be successful, you will possess excellent interpersonal and organisational skills, and be able to work confidently and effectively with both internal teams and external partners. Strong communication and analytical skills, as well as a good working knowledge of MS Word and MS Excel, are essential. We value diverse thinkers with adaptable and flexible approaches, and a genuine interest in positive social and environmental change.

Triodos is proud of its culture, ethos, and ability to make a positive impact in society. It is important that candidates can demonstrate a strong commitment to Triodos Bank’s core values of ethical sustainability and transparency, and the personal qualities to live these values.
