The Opportunity:

We’re excited to be recruiting for our TBUK Operations placement scheme, which will be a 13-month placement running from August 2026 until August 2027. Our Operations placement has been running since 2023 and has been a huge success.

As part of the TBUK Operations team, you will support the wider bank in the management of change and will be liaising with an incredibly wide range of stakeholders. You will join the Portfolio Management Office as an analyst and will help to ensure that ‘run the bank’ and ‘change the bank’ activities are aligned and meet the highest standards.

Key responsibilities include

Analysis

  • Carrying out key reporting on change
  • Providing guidance on initiating projects or other change
  • Supporting and encouraging delivery on projects or other change

Governance Support

  • Facilitating and guiding Management Committees
  • Management of change related forums
  • Maintenance of the Policy Library
  • General Adminitration support

What we are looking for:This role is suitable for a placement student studying business or a related subject, or someone interested in a career in project management or operations. Most activities will be entry-level, suitable for someone in their first professional role.

To be successful, you will possess excellent interpersonal and organisational skills, and be able to work confidently and effectively with internal teams and external partners. Strong communication and analytical skills, along with a good working knowledge of MS Word and MS Excel, are essential. We value diverse thinkers with an adaptable and flexible approach, and a genuine interest in positive social and environmental change. It is desirable to have a foundational level of analytical skills and experience in stakeholder management.

What we offer
