The Opportunity:We’re excited to be recruiting for our next Marketing & Communications internship scheme, a 13-month placement running from August 2026 to August 2027. Our marketing internships have run since 2022 and have been a huge success.

As part of the TBUK Marketing and Communications team, you will support Triodos in delivering a first-class service to the UK business. This placement offers great variety and involves collaborating with, and gaining exposure to, various areas of marketing and communications such as PR & media relations, internal communications, and events.

Key responsibilities include:

PR & Media Relations

• Media monitoring and analysis – tagging and organising coverage
• Preparing the ‘Morning News’ internal newsletter
• Researching awards opportunities
• Coordinating personal and business customer case studies
• Assisting with monitoring and drafting responses to customer reviews online
• Writing articles for our blog, basic press releases, and general proofreading

Internal Communications

• Drafting and publishing articles for the internal community platform ‘Engage’
• Supporting the organisation of our weekly all-co-worker community meeting
• Supporting the delivery of internal events for co-workers
• Producing and coordinating the internal manager newsletter.

What we are looking for:This role is suitable for a placement student studying PR/communications, business studies, or an arts/humanities subject, and who has an interest in a career in marketing, events, or PR. Most activities will be entry-level, suitable for someone in their first professional role.

To be successful, you will possess excellent interpersonal and organisational skills, and be able to work confidently and effectively with internal teams and external partners. Strong communication and analytical skills, along with a good working knowledge of MS Word and MS Excel, are essential. We value diverse thinkers with an adaptable and flexible approach, and a genuine interest in positive social and environmental change. It is desirable, but not essential, to have some understanding of different aspects of marketing and communications.

What we offer
