Triodos Bank appoints new head of personal banking, sales and marketing

Huw Davies joins our senior managment team

25-10-2010 | The global leader in ethical and sustainable banking has announced the appointment of  a senior manager. Huw Davies is Triodos Bank’s new Head of Personal Banking, with responsibility for personal banking product and pricing, sales and marketing.

Prior to joining Triodos, Huw worked for 11 years at Nationwide Building Society, where since 2007 he was savings product marketing controller, with responsibility for product development, pricing, and customer proposition development. During his time at Nationwide he also worked on mortgages, and general insurance.
Huw has a first class degree from Cambridge university, and a post-graduate diploma in marketing. He has taught English in southern India, and is passionate about realising the potential of money to do good.

Huw commented: “An increasing number of people are making ethical and sustainable consumer choices on the high street. Many people are not aware though that they have a choice when it comes to their personal finances. By saving with Triodos, their money not only earns them a return, but is also directly helping to change the world for the better.”

“Triodos Bank stands out from the crowd, offering a way to connect customers’ savings with organisations making a real difference – our customers know where their money goes. At a time when a spotlight is on the banking system, environmental sustainability, and ethical consumerism, it’s very exciting to join the Bank. Triodos is already making a big difference, but can do even more in the future”
