The UK Marketing & Communications team play a vital role in delivering our brand identity to the external market.

We are pleased to be recruiting for a Brand, Sponsorship Events Officer on a 12 month fixed term contract. The purpose of this role is to plan, develop and co-ordinate the delivery of brand / sponsored events activity, as well as other events that form part of the marketing & communications overall plan of activity. Other relevant skills and experience we are seeking include to:

  • Research, evaluate and make recommendations on and for event / sponsorship proposals
  • Co-ordinate and deliver multiple events at one time
  • Develop partnerships and collaborations with key external event partners
  • Develop ideas and produce marketing and communications assets and collateral (print, digital, exhibition / stand & experiential assets) for pre, during and post events activity (e.g. design and produce branded goods and event stand materials and support the development of digital / social media content including films)
  • Produce internal event communications briefs for key internal stakeholders
  • Manage partnerships with event organisers: establishing marketing & communications plans, co-ordinating and planning event logistics, booking event/exhibition space and completing all necessary organisations and administrative tasks relating to the event
  • Ensure event/exhibition assets and collateral requirements are fulfilled, pre post and during events (e.g. digital / social media content, print materials, PowerPoint presentations etc.)
  • Support in the planning and development and co-ordinating the delivery of key 'owned' events, including the Annual Meeting and events hosted in The Foundation 
  • Effectively capture, collect and share event data with the team (i.e. delegate registrations and also any lead generation data)
  • Measure and evaluate brand/sponsorship and events including capturing feedback from attendees and co-workers that support with attending events. Ensuring learning is captured and carried forward into future activity
  • Keep check on marketing material asset stock levels required for events (e.g. bags, pencils etc.) and liaise with suppliers for any re-ordering
  • Represent the Bank at events and manage delegates and attendees where necessary
  • Financial management of events including budgeting, raising purchase orders and checking / approving invoices

You will have experience of working within a marketing or communications function focusing on events, brand, sponsorship and partnership marketing for at least 2 years. The role requires someone who has overseen, developed and co-ordinated multiple events, of varying sizes, at one time - all which deliver compelling brand and, or product/service experiences. You will also experience of evaluating commercial opportunities, working in partnership and collaborating with a variety of organisations, while also being creative in developing ideas and content that supports wider marketing & communications objectives. In return for your commitment and hard work, you will receive a competitive basic of up to £30,000 depending experience, plus a benefits package including:

  • Non-contributory pension scheme from your first day of 5% in year 1 and 10% from year 2 onwards
