Tell us about your role & a bit about your career background.

I previously ran pubs and worked as a receptionist at hotel du vin. I have also worked at HSBC, Halifax and Barclays. I now work behind the reception at Triodos in Bristol, meeting and greeting co-workers and our visitors.

Why did you choose to come and work at Triodos?

The job and the bank sounded really interesting.

How does the work you do within your role/department contribute to the mission of Triodos and what we are trying to achieve?

I am the first person visitors see, so I like to give a warm welcome and make sure people are comfortable.

Can you describe what a typical day looks like within your role at Triodos Bank?

Greeting visitors, opening post, dealing with co-worker requests for transport, accommodation and catering.

What makes Triodos Bank different to other companies you have worked for?

The work/life balance and welfare of co-workers is much higher on their priorities.

What does it feel like to work at Triodos?

I feel valued.

What do you like/love about the workplace and the people who work here?

Their different personalities and the way I feel accepted.

How has Triodos Bank had an impact on you?

I recycle more.

What do you do in your free time?

Read, dine out and go to the gym.

We are all different as individuals, but what do you think is the common thread through all Triodos Co-workers.

A sense of belonging.

How would you describe Triodos Bank in one word?

Fabulous
